Regenerative Medicine
Autologous Cellular Regeneration
Due to its ability to stimulate collagen production in the dermis, Regen PRP may be regarded as an effective facial rejuvenation treatment.
Studies
Collagen Formation
Histological evidence supports new collagen formation with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in skin rejuvenation. In this prospective, controlled clinical trial, the authors assessed the efficacy of intradermal injection of Regen PRP for facial rejuvenation in 20 patients.
They conducted pre- and post-treatment histological examinations and measured collagen mean optical densities (MODs). The study found that the MOD of collagen fibers was significantly higher on the PRP-treated side compared to the saline-injected side (p < 0.001). These results align with previous in vivo studies demonstrating the rejuvenating effects of Regen PRP on photoaged skin in nude mice. No serious side effects were observed following Regen PRP treatment.
Skin Revitalisation
Use of Platelet-Rich Plasma for the Revitalization of the Face and Neck.
In this case series involving 23 patients, the authors examined the results, benefits, and side effects of a standardized PRP injection protocol. The degree of global score (DGS) was determined by comparing spider improvement scores, pre- and post-treatment photos, patient satisfaction scores, and physician satisfaction scores.
Patients received a Regen PRP injection once a month for three months and were assessed one month after the final injection. A final DGS was calculated for each patient. The authors concluded that revitalization of the face and neck with Regen PRP is a promising and user-friendly technique, yielding good results in reducing small skin folds and improving skin texture and elasticity.
Acne Scars
Application of Regenerative Medicine in the Treatment of Acne Scars
The effectiveness of combining nanofat and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections with fractional CO2 laser resurfacing was evaluated in 30 patients.
The authors demonstrated that this combined approach significantly improved the appearance of atrophic scars. Additionally, Regen PRP Injection and nanofat resulted in a notable increase in skin and subcutaneous tissue thickness. Patients reported high satisfaction with the treatment and acknowledged the positive impact of addressing facial acne scars on their social lives and relationships.
Keloid Scars
Injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an effective and safe adjunctive therapy for treating keloid scars unresponsive to conventional treatments.
The efficacy of Regen PRP for keloid scar treatment was evaluated in 17 patients, with assessments based on complete remission of keloid scars, pruritus severity scores, and mean Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS) scores two years post-treatment.
After two years, 53% of keloid scars had completely regressed, and only 29% had recurred following Regen PRP treatment. The pruritus severity score was significantly lower after two years compared to baseline, with 60% of patients experiencing the disappearance of pruritus symptoms.
The VSS score, assessing vascularity, height/thickness, pliability, and pigmentation, showed significant improvement at the two-year follow-up (p < 0.001), with 88% of patients demonstrating improvement.
Studies with Cellular MATRIX BCT-HA
Appearance Of The Face
Significant improvement in skin elasticity.
In a prospective study, 31 patients received mesotherapy with a combination of Regen PRP and HA from CELLULAR MATRIX (CM-PRP-HA) at 0, 1, and 2 months. Clinical benefits were assessed using FACE-Q scores and biophysical measurements of skin elasticity.
FACE-Q scores showed significant improvement at 6 months compared to baseline (p=0.03). Similarly, biophysical measurements indicated a significant enhancement in skin elasticity (R5) at 6 months post-treatment compared to baseline (p=0.036). No serious side effects were observed.
Quality Of The Skin
CELLULARMATRIX improves skin tone and quality
A prospective study involving 5 patients evaluated the clinical benefits of using the combination of Regen PRP and HA from CELLULAR MATRIX (CM-PRP-HA) as mesotherapy on the hand and face. Both the treated subjects and reviewers assessed skin quality and tone.
All subjects showed significant improvement in skin quality, tone, and wrinkle depth after three treatment sessions. No serious side effects were noted, although some patients reported discomfort at the injection site and bruising on the lower eyelid and back of the hand.
Cellular Regeneration
Combining Regen PRP with HA enhances contouring and accelerates cellular regeneration, making this combination ideal for improving skin hydration.
CM-PRP-HA can be applied independently by injecting it directly into the superficial dermis or in combination with deeper injections into the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS). HA acts as a bioscaffold, prolonging the presence of growth factors in tissue and facilitating cell migration and regeneration.
CM-PRP-HA effectively balances volume and lifts tissue, yielding immediate results.
